Homosexuality Is the New Celebrity Sex Tape

The dangerous thing about being a celebrity is that once the spotlight fades a bit, the thirst for renewed attention often brings out the worst in people. Drunken tirades, embarrassing arrests, and “stolen” explicit pictures and videos are often the drug of choice for those starved celebs.

Just think about it. How many times within the past three years has a sex tape or stolen pictures leaked, only for you to fix your lips to say, “they did that on purpose … they must have an album coming out.”

My point exactly.

It’s gotten so bad that we no longer even attempt to believe the standard story of their phone being lost or laptop being stolen.

But now, the levels that an entertainer will sink to gain publicity have even surpassed that former low. The new form of attention getting is to dabble in homosexuality—real or imagined. From Rihanna grabbing butts to Nicki Minaj’s flirtations with bisexuality, the new trend is for celebrities to gain notoriety by having the public question their sexuality.

Rapper Lil B is the latest culprit as he announced at the Coachella Music Festival this weekend that his new album would be titled “I’m Gay.”

But is Lil B in fact gay? Let’s go straight to the source.

“I respect the hell out of gays and the gay community. I’m not a gay man,” he recently shared with Complex Magazine. “I don’t agree with sex with another man or f—— another man or giving blow jobs to another guy. That’s not my thing. I’d rather fuck a girl, f— her in her ass, f— her in the mouth or something.”

So if Lil B isn’t gay, then why would he make that type of announcement? Well, the easy answer is that we’re talking about him when we typically wouldn’t. So should the gay and lesbian community be offended that he’s exploiting them to gain fame?

I think so.
