Michael Jackson's Children Celebrate 'The Immortal World Tour' Kickoff in Canada

In what had to be a bittersweet experience for the three Jackson children, who never saw their legendary dad perform live, Prince (14), Paris (13) and Blanket (9) were in the audience on Oct. 2 in Montreal to witness the launch of Cirque Du Soleil’s “The Immortal World Tour.”

Also in attendance at the sold-out event were Michael’s brothers Tito, Marlon and Jackie, along with their mother, Katherine.

USA Today described the show as a “fantasy treatment” that featured “… broad themes of compassion, human connection and global consciousness.”

A centerpiece of the production was an onstage  re-creation of Michael’s “Giving Tree,” a place of inspiration at MJ’s Neverland Ranch where much of the King of Pop’s music was born.

According to the Jackson brothers, the show authentically captured Michael’s spirit. “That was Michael’s message — to help us understand that love is so important,” Tito said.

Regarding the show’s interpretation of Michael’s prophetic ballad Gone Too Soon, Jackie Jackson commented,  “Our mother is probably bawling out there somewhere.”
