Wale is making amends for his disappointing debut album Attention Deficit. After selling only 28,000 records in the first week of Attention Deficit, Wale sold nearly six times that amount with the release of his sophomore album Ambition.

Selling 164,000 units, Ambition landed as the No. 2 album on the Billboard charts and was only led by Justin Beiber’s Christmas album Under the Mistletoe.

It’s easy for rap fans to move past artists who release subpar material. However, there are several artists who have revived their careers after nearly fading into oblivion. –amir shaw
