Besides struggling with health issues, R. Kelly also struggled with debt over the past year. In August, Kelly’s former manager sued him for breach of oral contract and fraud. The following month, Kelly was slapped with a $2.9 million foreclosure lawsuit after failing to pay his mortgage for more than a year and just a few weeks later, the IRS filed an $837,442.59 tax lien against him.
