Chicago Bull Derrick Rose has a high-tech new shoe, the adizero rose 2.5 (MSRP $110) and it’s only 11 ounces, making it the lightest signature basketball show that the MVP has ever worn.

Technologically speaking, this shoe promises to give him speed and support as the star player makes his way to the NBA playoffs. What’s unique about the shoe is the infrared color on the sockliner and the satellite view of Englewood, Rose’s neighborhood home, embossed on the upper. His jersey number, 1, is on the toe.

Derrick Rose’s latest shoe is positioning him to take flight, much like the “Cleared for Flight” theme of the Rose 2 shoe. This is the fourth signature shoe for Rose. Derrick Rose is on Facebook, discussing the shoe, and inviting his fans to review it: www.facebook.com/adidasBasketball.
