Since her debut in 1997, Missy Elliott has been pegged as a suspected lesbian. And like several other artists on this list, that’s due in part to Missy’s tomboy style, her apparent lack of male love interests, less-than-stereotypically girl demeanor as well as an alleged sexual tryst with Superhead. Missy has denied that she likes the ladies, but the gay rumors don’t seem to be going away anytime soon.
