Earlier this week one of the most popular New York DJs celebrated a birthday with a number of his celebrity friends. Power 105’s DJ Prostyle took over the Hammerstein Ballroom Tuesday alongside Wale, Waka Flocka, Fabolous and Diggy Simmons with more than 3,500 fans in attendance.
Also on hand was “Shot Caller” hitmaker French Montana alongside Travis Porter, Prodigy, Ace Hood and Movado. While the night had a number of memorable moments, arguably the most memorable was when the stage partially collapsed under the weight of one of the rappers and his entourage.

As previously reported, eyewitnesses said the stage started to give way when “12 dudes that weighed 300 pounds each and an extra 100 pounds for all of their bling jewelry” made way onto the ramp. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. –danielle canada
