Queen Latifah Making Appearance on BET's 'Let's Stay Together'

 A pioneering female rapper is making a rare television appearance on a show that she executive produces. On Tuesday, May 8, Queen Latifah will make her first on-screen debut on BET’s “Let’s Stay Together.” The emcee turned producer also executive produces ‘Single Ladies’ the hit television drama detailing the lives of singles in Atlanta.

On “Let’s Stay Together,” Latifah plays the strong willed client of Tasha played by Joyful Drake. Airing May 8 at 10:30 p.m., Latifah will make Tasha question her identity and career choice leaving her scrambling to find answers. Meanwhile, Stacy’s (Nadine Ellis) excitement grows as her birthday draws closer leaving her new husband Charles (Bert Belasco) less than enthused about gifting.


Catch The Queen on BET during the sitcom after a new episode of “The Game.”

In addition to making a television appearance, Latifah has also agreed to headline the Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride Festival. As previously reported, her appearance will mark her first time particpating in a Pride event.
