The Notorious B.I.G.‘s untimely death will always be remembered as one of hip-hop’s most tragic events. At the age of 24, Biggie (Christopher Wallace) was gunned down after the Soul Train Music Awards in 1997.

If Biggie was alive today, he would be 40 years old. It’s always interesting to imagine how hip-hop would have been different if Biggie (or 2 Pac) had not been murdered.

Although it’s unclear if Jay-Z, Lil Wayne or Kanye West would have had promising music careers under Biggie’s shadow, it’s obvious that Biggie would still be a success in some form. Here are five things Biggie would be doing today.
