Nas heightened the anticipation for his new album Life is Good by releasing the cover art. The rapper took to Twitter and Facebook to give fans a glimpse of the cover, plus a video that explains the rationale behind the album title.

In the brief video clip, Nas is shown partying and performing on stage before thousands of fans. However, the mood of the video shifts quickly to Nas’ tribulations with the IRS, negative album reviews and his divorce from singer Kelis.

Before the clip ends, Nas reveals that Kelis took everything out of his house and only left her green wedding dress.

On the album’s cover, Nas is seen dressed in all white while holding Kelis’ green weeding dress. The cover art is reminiscent of a time when rap album covers had deeper meanings that coincided with the music.
