Lampkin and Jones Land New Show

A “Love & Hip-Hop’ standout has officially signed on to do a spin-off show about her life with her famous rap fiancé. Chrissy Lampkin, the wife-to-be of rapper Jim Jones, recently confirmed to VIBE magazine that she and Jones are on board for an as yet untitled new reality show.

“Jimmy and I have our own show now,” she said. “There’s definitely gonna be drama. We love each other but we don’t always see eye to eye.” “We respect each other, but just like any other relationship, it gets rocky,” she added.” I really don’t know [the title yet]. I really wanted Me and Mrs. Jones but Kelis and Nas already used that.”

And while details are light, Lampkin made sure to pledge that she would not let things reach the physical level that they did on her last reality TV program. On the first season of “Love & Hip-Hop,” Lampkin fought Kimbella Vanderhee, the girlfriend of Juelz Santana, by stomping and punching her in the face. “It’s like ‘why did I let them get me that angry?’ ” Lampkin asked rhetorically. “I feel like I can think circles around half of the situations that I allow myself to get angry at. My wit and my vocabulary [are] enough to cut somebody down where I don’t have to get physical.”
