Macy’s on State Street is a hub of diversity, as it features several black-owned product lines. Here are a few.

Big Girl Cosmetics

Big Girl Cosmetics is a Chicago brand started by Kiley Russell. One day, Russell  attended a taping of the Oprah show in 2010 and lucky for her, it was the episode where Oprah gave away cars to the entire audience. Instead of keeping the car, Russell sold it and launched Big Girl Cosmetics. Russell used to make body butters and soaps, but decided to venture  into makeup. Big Girl Cosmetics has been a business for seven years and you can now find the products at Macy’s on State Street.
