T.O., Chad Johnson and the Most Tragic Declines in Sports History

No one will replace Babe Ruth as the most beloved baseball player in Major League history, but many people believe that Willie Mays is the best the game has ever laid eyes on. As bleacherreport.com reported, Mays was  “as close to perfect as a baseball player could be. He was above-average at all five tools of baseball” and that could not be said of any other player.

But the “Sey Hey Kid” stayed in the game five years too long and he resembled a booze-addled drunk on the baseball diamond. People covered their eyes in shame as he deteriorated in front of fans’ eyes.
