Could Michelle Obama have looked any more warm, elegant and regal at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C. — and make it all look so effortless?

Pundits, political watchers, pop culture experts and fashion designers are all still trying to figure out, after four years, what makes Mrs. O so endearing to millions of people in this country and around the world. It’s so much more than the fact that she is the most highly educated first lady in U.S. history. She has that undefinable yet highly-attractable set of characteristics and intangibles that draws her admirers to her — which she eagerly greets with a warm embrace.

Case in point: Yahoo News reported that Twitter’s official blog revealed the fact that Michelle Obama’s DNC convention speech generated 28,003 tweets per minute, nearly double those created during GOP candidate Mitt Romney’s acceptance speech at the RNC the previous Thursday. “At that time, the first lady’s speech was the most tweeted news of 2012,” Yahoo reported.
