Another magazine has produced its annual “Most Dangerous Cities” list, and the city that once produced the sweetest sounding music, perhaps ever in America, is the one taking the most people off the planet.

Most would have thought that the explosion of teen and gang violence over the summer would propel Chicago to the top of the list. But Chi-town didn’t even make the Top 10.

Here is the list of Forbes’ Most Dangerous Cities in America, followed by an explanation as to why they are on this dubious list.
