Marie “Free” Wright
It was rumored that Jay-Z and Free, of BET’s “106 & Park” fame, dated and were expecting a child in 2004. Shortly thereafter, Free parted ways from BET. There were of course rumors that Beyoncé’s dad, Mathew Knowles, blackballed the journalist. She emerged from the shadows a couple of years ago and joined NY’s Power 105.1 host Ed Lover — they were both fired in 2009.
