Jay-Z does good deed for Hurricane Sandy victims

There’s a good rumor spreading around TriBeCa, a popular New York City neighborhood, about rap mogul Jay-Z. In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Hov is fulfilling his altruistic duties and has reportedly purchased a generator for his lower Manhattan apartment. His neighbors are singing his praises. Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s loft at 195 Hudson Street that is worth nearly $7 million is powered up.


Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Blue Ivy sought refuge at the tony Mandarin Oriental hotel at the height of the Superstorm Sandy.
