Atlanta clinic worker who called President Obama a 'd--n ni--er' fired

As expected, several Republicans were upset, pressed and heartbroken on Tuesday, Nov.6 when President Barack Obama was re-elected as our nation’s 44th president. One conservative in particular, an Atlanta clinic worker, took her anger and blasted it on the web, as she called Obama a “d–n ni—er” after he was re-elected. But, while the president was finishing his walk back into the White House, the clinic worker was ultimately served her walking papers for the offensive comment.

The Georgia woman posted the racist comment on her Facebook page shortly after Obama’s victory was clenched.

“That d*mn ni—er got re-elected President…. God Bless the USA!!!”

The woman was quickly bombarded by other Facebook users, who criticized her for her comment. But, the woman continued to spew hate against her attackers.

“Lea, seriously f—k off. Find the remove friend button and delete me before I delete your ni—er loving a*s!”

According to Atlanta’s 11Alive News, several angry users sent them e-mails explaining that the woman worked at a family medical practice in Statesboro, Ga., and that they were concerned about her treatment of the facility’s African-American patients.

“Are African Americans safe at this office? Does this young lady care for African Americans as she does all patients?” on e-mail asked.

The practice responded quickly and informed the news station that the woman was fired on Wednesday morning after they became aware of her comments.

“Today, we were saddened to learn that one of our clinic employees used her personal Facebook account to make offensive remarks. The views she expressed were of her personal opinion and do not reflect the views of the clinic. We are giving thoughtful consideration to the matter and will take action as deemed appropriate,” read a statement from the practice.
