The father of the late, legendary Michael Jackson has suffered a stroke, according to media reports.

Family members have revealed that Joe Jackson, 83, is currently being treated at an undisclosed hospital, X17 online has claimed. Details about his condition is unknown.


The Jackson family has been besieged by health problems lately.

Back in July, Katherine Jackson was reported to have suffered a small stroke before a mini-break in Arizona that turned into a prolonged and messy soap opera that included Michael Jackson’s children and Janet.


Joe is as famous as he is infamous for being the steely, uncompromising father whose brutal parenting style nevertheless produced a record-breaking, trendsetting set of entertainers who happened to be his children. The Jackson 5 became the first act in pop history to have their first four singles go all the way #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Joe also managed, for a time, the solo careers of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, LaToya Jackson and Janet Jackson.
