Disney PIXAR ‘Monsters, Inc.’ movie review

Disney PIXAR 'Monsters, Inc.' movie review

Originally released in 2001, Disney PIXAR’S family favorite Monster’s, Inc., returns to theaters today, Dec.19, just in time to cash in at the box office during the holiday season.

Monsters, Inc. is the largest scare factory in the monster world and James P. Sullivan (John Goodman) is one of its top “scarers.” Sullivan is a huge, intimidating monster with blue fur, large purple spots, and horns with a reputation for striking fear in all of his clients. His scare assistant, best friend, and roommate is Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal), a green, opinionated, feisty, little one-eyed monster who provides more comedic relief than fear in Monsters, Inc. Visiting from the human world is Boo (Mary Gibbs), a tiny girl who goes where no human has ever gone before. While Boo wreaks havoc, Sullivan and Wazowski come together to save face and protect the child from destruction. –ruthie hawkins
