Move over Barbie! Check out the human Ken Doll

Last month, people all over the world were shocked to see Ukrainian model Valeria Lukyanova, a.k.a. the human Barbie Doll, as she graced the pages of V Magazine. However, they’ll be also be surprised to know Barbie’s not alone anymore, as a human Ken Doll is now making headlines as well.

A 32-year-old man named Justin Jedlica recently appeared on an episode of “The Doctors” and revealed that he’s had between 90 and 100 procedures to look like Ken. In total, Jedlica has spent around $100,000 for all of his procedures.

“I’ve always been into plastic surgery because it’s an extension of me being creative,” said Jedlica.

Jedlica revealed that his “hobby” began at 18, when he got his first rhinoplasty.

“It was really something that set me apart and validated me, and I felt so euphoric,” he said about his first surgery

Since then, Jedlica has had had five rhinoplasties, a cranial brow bone shave and augmentations to his cheeks, lips, buttocks, pecs, biceps and chin to help him look like Ken.

“I can treat myself as if I were my own sculpture, my own artwork,” he said of the multiple surgeries.

Although doctors didn’t say Jedlica should quit getting surgery altogether, they did warn that he could face major health issues when his implants begin to deteriorate and his body tissue breaks down.

However, Jedlica thinks it’s worth the risk to keep his body in artistic and sculptural perfection.

“There’s always the potential for something to go wrong, but those risks are pretty nominal,” Jedlica said. “I’m willing to accept these risks but I don’t think anything worthwhile in life comes without taking risks. It’s like asking Picasso not to paint!”

Well, Jedlica isn’t the only man in the spotlight who’s decided to go under the knife. Check out some male celebs that have had plastic surgery below. – nicholas robinson
