4 Dead, state police shot in Pennsylvania killing spree
In March of this year, John Schick, 30, opened fire on a psychiatric facility, killing one employee and wounding seven.

In Pennsylvania, three people were shot and killed this morning-before the suspected shooter was killed. The spree happened along a road in Frankstown Township, (west of Harrisburg) said Blair County District Attorney Rich Consiglio.

The names of the victims have not yet been released, however, Consiglio says two men and a woman were shot and killed, as well as male the suspect who was killed by Pennsylvania state troopers.

CBS Pittsburgh reported that the gunman “shot randomly.”

Earlier reports indicate the shooting took place in Altoona, Pa., and that two Pennsylvania troopers were also shot, but their injuries are not life-threatening.

This is the second random shooting this year in Pennsylvania.

In March of this year, police  said a gunman, John Shick, 30, walked into a Pittsburgh psychiatric hospital and shot several workers and patients, killing employee Michael Schaab and injuring seven.

Shick was shot and killed by police.
