Chief Keef heads to court for probation violation

Chicago rapper Chief Keef is once again in trouble for possibly violating the terms of his probation.

The teenager is set to return to court today on charges that he violated his probation. He was already facing charges stemming from an incident in 2012, when he appeared in an interview video holding and firing a handgun.

This week, the rapper born Keith Cozart, ran into more trouble after it was revealed that he recently moved to a new home in Northbrook, Ill. Unfortunately, Keef did not notify his juvenile probation officer about his change of address. A judicial summons was issued on New Year’s Eve for the rapper to appear before a judge.

The 17-year old was supposed to only live with his uncle in the southern Chicago suburb of Dolton.

Keef was arrested in September of 2012 on gun charges for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and spent early 2012 on house arrest. He released his debut album, Finally Rich, in mid-December on Interscope Records.
