There were times when the sex trade mostly operated in brothels or on seedy street corners. But as the internet and social media becomes more entrenched in our everyday lives, prostitution has also evolved as a fixture online. Some college women are now participating in a new pay for play business that hooks them up with wealthy men.

Known as “Sugar Babies,” these college women offer their desired monthly stipend, usually between $1,000-$3,000, to men who will pay for their company.  Websites that match “Sugar Babies” with “Sugar Daddies” have grown in popularity in the past five years.
