WASHINGTON — Hundreds of thousands of U.S. citizens awoke well before sunlight, braved both the elements, invasive checkpoints, long lines and standing on their feet for hours on hard concrete in order to bare witness to the 57th Inauguration in person. And to a person, it was more than worth the wait and hassle.


Coming from as far away as Seattle, Los Angeles and Southern Louisiana, Obama supporters were awed by the pomp, circumstances, the president’s speech and what they see him doing in the next four years.
