Chris Brown’s car wreck: Is he the Katt Williams of R&B?

How much trouble can one guy get into?

Chris Brown seems determined to follow in the footsteps of celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, DMX and yes, Katt Williams, with his seemingly-endless string of tabloid-ready headlines. Grammy weekend was marred by Breezy totaling his car as he tried to evade paparazzi. He reportedly sped into a wall, smashing his Porsche. Thankfully, the star wasn’t hurt after the accident.

“It’s cool. I’m fine,” Breezy later told E!’s Ryan Seacrest. “A little bit of bumps. I’m good though.”

“Yeah, yeah, I’ll get another one. Insurance is good,” he said. “Paparazzi can get out of hand. It’s all good, though.” And he added, “No injuries.”

And while the wreck isn’t his fault–though the paps are denying culpability — it does come on the heels of a rather eventful few weeks for the controversial singer. And, incidentally, it happened on the semi-anniversary of that other pre-Grammys incident that forever changed his public image from teen heartthrob to R&B bad boy.

But so far in 2013, Chris Brown has been in a fight with fellow star Frank Ocean, compared himself to Jesus on Instagram, been accused of forging his community service documents by a Los Angeles District Attorney, and crashed his car the night before the Grammys. Add to that the tail-end of 2012, when he was embroiled in ridiculous love triangle, got into a Twitter beef with a no-name comedian and posted pics of himself getting high in Europe, and he’s been a one man gossip feed.

The only celebrity that can compete with him right now is Williams.

So we decided to put it to the test; who’s shenanigans have been more epic over the past 18 months or so? Chris Brown or Katt Williams?

You decide.
