COLUMBUS, Ohio — The second day of the 16th annual Black Enterprise Entrepreneurs Conference was a power-packed affair that climaxed with the Small Business Awards Luncheon where renowned Hollywood director, actor and comedian Robert Townsend elucidated the ways to succeed in business and entertainment.IMG_8481


The day began with renowned Clark Atlanta University professor, bestselling author and inspirational speaker Dr. Dennis Kimbro, who riveted the packed crowd inside the Greater Columbus Convention Center after detailing the traits to becoming successful, wealthy and unstoppable in the world workforce of the new millennium.IMG_8780


The BEEC closed with a thunder with the ultra-popular annual “Elevator Pitch” contest where  young entrepreneurs compete for the best business pitch in order to win $10,000 to towards their business. Curvy Girlz Lingerie founder Precious Williams took home the prize. And then the night concluded with hip hop legends Doug E. Fresh and MC Lyte — who also participated as a judge in the “Elevator Pitch” contest — manning the stage with a performance and acting as a deejay, respectively.
