Wiz Khalifa associate arrested for carjacking and stabbing NFL player

Dquay Means was once an inspiring rapper who had close ties to Wiz Khalifa. The 26 year-old is now the lead suspect in a carjacking and stabbing of NFL star, Mike Adams.

According to reports, Adams, who plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers was on the South Side of Pittsburgh when he was confronted by Means and Michael Paranay at 3 a.m. on Saturday morning. They wanted his car but Adams didn’t have his keys on him. Paranay, then pointed a gun at Adams and Means stabbed the NFL player in his stomach and arm.


Adams was able to stumble into a nearby business for help. The entire attack was captured on a surveillance camera.

Known as, Taylor Gang Means, the rapper spoke with rolling out about his affiliation to Wiz Khalifa back in 2011.  “Most people know him as ‘super star’ Wiz, but we know him as Wiz from the ‘hood,” Means said. “That’s how it is. We have been recording together for years. We went to high school together at Taylor Allderdice for a few years before I transferred. He’s from Hazelwood, so we were connected before rap.”


Means has been charged with criminal attempt homicide, aggravated assault, attempted carjacking, former convict not to possess a firearm, terroristic threats, criminal conspiracy and escape.

Adams will be out of service for six weeks before he is able to return to the football field.
