Dr. Shiping Bao claims the prosecution threw the George Zimmerman case

Dr. Shiping Bao, a prosecution witness in this summer’s George Zimmerman case, is slamming the state and accusing them of throwing the trial. Dr. Bao, who testified that Trayvon Martin suffered before his death is said to be preparing a lawsuit against the medical examiner, the state attorney’s office and Sanford Police Department claiming that they were biased against the teen.

Bao’s attorney, Willie Gary, recently told WFTV  that they’re preparing a lawsuit and confirmed that Dr. Bao thought the entities were in cahoots and used him as a scapegoat.

“He says their general attitude was that he [the victim] got what he deserved,” said Gary.

Gary added that the doctor was prepared to present proof that Martin was not the aggressor and would provide scientific evidence to prove it, but the prosecution never asked him a crucial question.

“He was in essence told to zip his lips. ‘Shut up. Don’t say those things,’ ”  Gary said.

“He wanted a question that would have allowed him to explain to the jury with scientific evidence how there was no way Trayvon Martin could have been on top of George Zimmerman.”

Following the case Dr. Bao was fired, he believes wrongfully, from the medical examiner’s office.
