Spike Lee may have to pay thousands of dollars for a tweet. According to reports, Lee has been sued by an elderly couple for retweeting their address.

During the George Zimmerman trial, Lee retweeted a man who posted an address that claimed to be Zimmerman’s. However, the address belonged to Elaine and David McClain of Sanford, Fla. The elderly couple have a son name George Zimmerman who does not have any connection to the killer of Trayvon Martin.

Lee’s tweet could be seen by 240,000 of his followers. After the incident, Lee settled with the couple for an undisclosed amount. But the couple seem to want more money because they say the threats have continued.

The couple is seeking at least $15,000 in damages.
