New York Knicks defeat Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena

The New York Knicks backed up a promise made by Madison Square Garden chairman James Dolan by defeating the Atlanta Hawks 95-91 on Nov. 13 at Philips Arena in Atlanta.


Both teams went back and forth throughout the game until the Knicks were able to pull away during the early half of the 4th quarter. The Knicks were led by Carmelo Anthony, who paced the team with 25 points. The Hawks were led by Jeff Teague who scored 25 points and Al Horford who scored 23 points.


The Knicks improved to 3-4 while the Hawks fell to 4-4.
