The annual Grammy Awards brings artists together to celebrate their yearly accomplishments, so BMI, Broadcast Music, Inc., the global leader in music rights management brought Wiz Khalifa, Linda Perry, Charlie Murphy, Alex da Kid, and  Dallas Davidson together. They spoke on a panel called ‘How I Wrote That Song’  hosted by BMI in LA, CA. Each artists/writer was asked about their inspiration to write specific top ranking songs and then the audience was able to ask their own personal questions. One young lad asked to sing and though Catherine Brewton, BMI Vice President Writer/Publisher Relations for Atlanta shut it down Linda Perry said it was ballsy and they gave her 30 seconds. I got chills once she sang, I’m hoping there was an AR because she sounded amazing. Check out more images of Wiz and more in the gallery. –Joi Pearson @joiapearson
