The ninth annual Jazz in the Gardens ends after two days of showcasing great talent. The city of Miami Gardens, Fla., and Mayor Oliver Gilbert opened the city once again for this musical event. The artists were as excited as the fans to be a part of the festivities. D.L. Hughley was this year’s host and talent ranging from Jamie Foxx, LL Cool J, Kelly Rowland, Anthony Hamilton, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, Mint Condition, Stanley Clarke, Boney James, Doug E. Fresh and several local artists came together for this phenomenal experience.

The opening night on Friday kicked off with the S.O.S. Band and the Dazz Band at the Seminole Hard Rock & Casino.

The festival also featured excellent food and merchandise vendors.  There were also opportunities to meet with One United Bank about their secured credit card, find out about Bigen‘s various hair colors, hear from Miami Gardens Tourism, and much more.

Mayor Gilbert stated, “The 10th annual Jazz in the Gardens will be bigger.”
