After the explosive “Scandal” finale, Columbus Short called in to the “Tom Joyner Morning Show” for an interview that went downhill fast. As previously reported fans ares speculating that he was fired from the show for ongoing drama in his personal life that includes a reported murder-suicide threat, a bar brawl and accusations of spousal battery.

On Friday, an obviously irritated Short chatted with Joyner, Sybil Wilkes and J. Anthony Brown about reports that his character, Harrison Wright, had been killed off.

“You got shot at the end of the show, and I’m thinking, wow,” said Joyner to the “Scandal” star.

“Or did he?” asked Wilkes.

Or did he?” repeated Joyner as Short remained silent.

After Wilkes reminded him that they were asking a question, the actor finally answered; “Can I keep it 1,000 with y’all? I don’t know either,” he said.

After adding that Shonda Rhimes has him “written top to bottom,” Short seemed irritable when Joyner asked him how long ago he knew his character would be shot.

The day I got shot. But I’m lying because I didn’t get shot, n—, man, I mean, people,” he said.

“Oh, I didn’t mean to upset you, Columbus, I’m sorry,” replied Joyner.

The bizarre interview then continued with Short noting that the finale had been taped within the last month and rambling about how his new single “Got Ya” is for women who need to feel confident in themselves.

When Wilkes then asked for a third time how his wife, Tanee McCall, who recently filed for divorce, felt about the song, Short snappily replied; “Uh, I don’t care. How about I don’t care.”

Brown then suggested that he stop talking to the press.

“How about you just don’t do interviews?” said Brown.
