Former reality star Sara Stokes, who rose to fame as a member of Da Band on the 2003 season of Diddy’s MTV series “Making the Band,” has been arrested for domestic violence.
According to reports, the police were called to Stokes’ home on July 21, just before 4:00 a.m., where they found her and her husband, Tony Stokes, on the ground fighting each other. Sara was reportedly drunk and she was immediately arrested and charged with domestic violence.
The former singer was arrested in 2009 for stabbing her husband in another domestic incident. Her arrest last week constituted a probation violation and according to TMZ, she will remain in prison for the next 93 days.
As a member of the short-lived collective Da Band, Stokes released one album, 2003’s Too Hot For TV. In the years since, she’s become more known for violent spats with her husband, with whom she also feuded on the reality show.
