Kanye West isn’t offering any apologies.

Performing yesterday in Brisbane, Australia, West referenced the recent controversy surrounding his show in Sydney last Friday, during which he asked people to stand but took exception when some attendees, who turned out to be handicapped, did not. West reportedly said during the Brisbane show that he isn’t going to tolerate the media exaggeration of the story. The rapper described it as “bull—- blown out of proportion.”

“I’m a married, Christian man with a family,” he said. “Pick another target.”

West again urged the audience to stand, and referenced those handicapped members of the audience.

“Everybody who is not in a wheelchair or handicapped will stand up,” he said. “If you can not prove to me that you are in a wheelchair you need to be standing, if you can it is OK to sit down.”

For the past few days, West has been getting widely criticized for the wheelchair incident in Sydney, where he reportedly urged security to go verify that those seated were actually handicapped.
