Rolling out celebrated community influencers on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, at the Steed Society’s ninth annual Top 25 Women of Atlanta awards celebration at the Twelve hotel (Atlantic Station). In attendance were Atlanta’s Mayor Kasim Reed; City Council President Ceasar Mitchell; Peter Thomas; and reality TV star, model and entrepreneur Cynthia Bailey, who received the Shero Icon Award.
“The women being honored tonight have made a difference in the community from the legendary Xernona Clayton to corporate executives to real estate developers and reality star Cynthia Bailey,” shared Munson Steed, publisher and CEO of Steed Media Group. “They have each broken barriers in the industry and have laid a blueprint for us to follow.”
“It’s great to applaud and celebrate black women who are doing great things in the city,” offered Bailey.
