NeNe Leakes blasts her unmarried ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ cast mates

NeNe Leakes had a rough time with her “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast mates all season long, and the reunion was no different as she reportedly clashed with all of her cast mates except Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams. But now that the season is coming to a close and fans are looking forward to season eight of the show, Leakes is claiming that if she had it her way, none of the unmarried cast mates would come back next season.

Leakes made the bold claim during a recent interview on “LIVE With Kelly and Michael,” during which she made her usual claims about why she’s so hated by the cast.

“Honey, I’m a threat and they are mad,” Leakes said. “Everybody wants to knock the queen off her throne, but she’s not going anywhere.”

But when guest host Robin Roberts asked Leakes if she’s coming back, she replied that she’d be more willing to return if some of her cast mates were fired.

“You know what, I would be there if some people left. They need to get rid of some folks … everybody that ain’t married,” Leakes said. “The show is called the ‘Housewives,’ isn’t it? Well, yeah. You need to be married to be on the show.”

She continued, “I think that over the years the show has become very negative. And there have been some people that have been thrown into the mix that have become negative and made the show very negative. So I think they should recast. I don’t mind if there’s like one girl, maybe two girls that aren’t married because it’s always great to see a single girl dating. But to have as many girls as we have that [are] not married, we need to get rid of a couple of them.”

Well, considering that Claudia Jordan, who was the breakout star of the season, we seriously doubt that she’s going anywhere. But considering that Williams’ peach was taken away last year, and fellow friend of the show Demetria McKinney had a small storyline, Leakes could get her wish if those two are dropped.

In any case, fans will just have to wait and see who stays and who goes next season.
