Chris Brown has been showing the worst sides of himself this past week, going from threatening Tyson Beckford for taking pictures with his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, to being accused of being a deadbeat dad. Although the public is used to seeing Brown operate in drama and dysfunction, it looks like the singer’s overly dramatic lifestyle is starting to weigh on him, again, because he recently posted an introspective letter about his troubled life.

Yesterday, Brown hopped on Instagram and shared a photo of himself as well as a heartfelt letter with his fans, in which he admitted that his lack of understanding and control of his emotions has caused the most setbacks in his life.

“I’m Konfuzed, I always thought I knew the concept of love. Fame and Money can get in the way of that. Most of my issues always deal with love and me being in my feelings. Not to mention me being a dog sometimes. I can’t speak for everyone but I can say that my actions contributed a lot to my karma. Being jealous and angry and controlling. There has been times where I looked in the mirror and hated the person I see,” Brown wrote.

Brown then explained his world outlook and that he wants to turn his life around.

“I talk to God a lot now. He’s given me so much and I feel like I waste his gifts becuz of my impulsive personality. The world is full of negativity and I feel I play a part in it becuz of the choices I’ve made or mistakes. I tend to accept the negative or the riff raff becuz I know what it’s like to be a young black ‘n—-‘ in America. I always see the good in people even when they don’t see it. I love others more than myself at times. Everything u see on the surface does not reflect what’s inside. This is my white flag. I surrender to life and all its blessings. I refuse to be petty and attention seeking. To know me is to love me. Good Bad UGLY! Sincerely, Konfuzed,” Brown wrote.

While we sincerely hope Brown lets go of this angry thug mindset and embraces a more peaceful life, this isn’t the first time he’s claimed he’s turning his life around and ultimately gone back to being pop’s biggest bad boy. So, until we see some actual change, we’ll just count this as another so-called “A Ha” moment that will turn into an “Ooops, I did it again” fiasco.
