Police were called to actress Demi Moore’s Beverly Hills home Sunday at around 5:30 a.m. after a man was discovered dead in her pool. Twenty-one-year-old Edenilson Steven Valle reportedly slipped, fell into the pool and drowned.

When police arrived, paramedics were attempting to revive Valle but were unsuccessful. It is said that he couldn’t swim. Authorities are currently deeming the death “just a tragic accident,” Daily Mail reported.

Although Moore was out of the country at the time of the incident, according to her publicist, there are other reasons some may be raising a suspicious eye at the 52-year-old star.

Moore’s assistant was at the house when the man drowned.

Moore’s assistant was present at the $7 million home when the man was found dead. Initial reports included that the assistant was hosting a party at the residence on the night of the incident, but authorities are now saying that may or may not be true.

“Who threw the party, we do not know at this time,” Officer Matthew Jones said.

Five others were at the home when Valle’s body was found and were questioned by authorities. Alcohol is said to have been at the party, but kept at a minimum.

Moore’s daughters have been known to throw wild parties at the house.

Moore’s three daughters — Rumer, Tallulah and Scout — were apparently in New York to celebrate Scout’s 24th birthday, according to hints from their social media pages. But according to neighbors and pictures the girls have posted online, if the pool party at which Valle lost his life was a wild one, it wouldn’t have been the first at the family house.

According to Daily Mail, one neighbor said that parties are thrown at the residence “every day, day and night.”

It’s not yet known whether the deceased man was an acquaintance of Moore’s daughters.

The man’s death is still being investigated, and Moore has since released a heartfelt statement though her publicist about the tragedy, adding that she was in “absolute shock” when she heard the news.

“I was out of the country traveling to meet my daughters for a birthday celebration when I got the devastating news,” Moore’s statement read. “The loss of a child is an unthinkable tragedy and my heart goes out to this young man’s family and friends.”
