Despite nabbing three nominations for Best Female Video and Best Hip Hop Video for “Anaconda” as well as Best Collaboration for “Bang Bang,” her tune with Ariana Grande and Jessie J. at this year’s Video Music Awards, Nicki Minaj believes she was snubbed and she wants the world to know it.

Shortly after MTV announced their 2015 VMA front runners, the “Bed of Lies” rapper blasted the network as she firmly believes that both “Anaconda” as well as “Feeling Myself” featuring Beyoncé should have been nominated for Video of the Year.

“Hey guys @MTV thank you for my nominations. Did Feeling Myself miss the deadline or…?” the “Truffle Butter” beauty tweeted on Tuesday morning. “If I was a different “kind” of artist, Anaconda would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well. If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.”

Ironically, fellow VMA nominee Taylor Swift (completely missing the point) took Minaj’s words as a personal jab and attempted to call Minaj out for pitting women against each other. “@NICKIMINAJ I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot,” Swift wrote prior to deleting the exchange and a sad excuse for an apology, suggesting Minaj join her on stage should she win the award.

“Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn’t say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this. @taylorswift13” Minaj replied leading to a series of rapid fire tweets aimed at Swift from fans backing the Barbz “valid points about the history of racism in the music industry,” wrote one user.

The YMCMB recording artist continued by citing Ellen DeGeneres’ spoof of the clip, as proof of the video’s impact. “Ellen did her own anaconda video and did the #choreo lol. Remember her doing that kick? Even mtv did a post on the choreo @MTV remember?” she wrote. “U couldn’t go on social media w/o seeing ppl doing the cover art, choreo, outfits for Halloween … an impact like that & no VOTY nomination?”

It’s safe to say that the Barbz is a bit upset and rightly so. But if her past success is any indication of her chances at walking away with a Moonman, she’s got it in the bag. And it appears she tends to agree. “Oh but trust me. I’ll be on that stage to collect my awards for vid of the year. Feeling Myself & Anaconda.” Minaj wrote.
