The Walt Disney World Resort is known for its thrilling rides and entertaining attractions, set to the theme of magical animated characters many of us grew up with. But one of Disney’s best kept secrets is its outstanding cuisine, some of which is showcased at the 20th Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, running this year from Sept. 25 through Nov. 16.

This year, the festival has turned things up a notch. For the first time ever, Epcot Resort will enable guests to visit the new Future World tasting areas to sip over 50 varieties of wine and sample succulent treats cooked up by Disney chefs and festival programmers. Certain dishes will also be inspired by ABC’s lifestyle program “The Chew.”

Dishes inspired from destinations all over the world are offered. You can also pick from a plethora of delicious desserts, cool craft beers, and the most marvelous red and white wines.

Not only can guests score good eats, but exhilarating music acts are also a part of the festival experience. Artists such as funk legend Chaka Khan, pop group Hanson, and more are set to hit the Epcot stage this November for the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.

Epcot offers hotels in the most serene settings at Disney World, as well as the most polite and helpful “cast members,” an endearing term for Disney staff. Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort are just a few hotels that overlook a mesmerizing beach and are just a short walk away from Epcot.

Don’t miss out on lots of food and tons of fun at the Food and Wine Festival. Visit https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/epcot/epcot-international-food-and-wine-festival/ for more information and to purchase tickets.
