Bravo took a major hit to its top-rated series, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” this season after NeNe Leakes decided to walk away from the show after seven seasons. Luckily for Bravo, they were able to convince Leakes to come back as a recurring guest for the last half of the season, but now that Leakes is back, reports are claiming that Bravo is pushing her to stay on with “RHOA.”

As previously reported, the ratings for “RHOA” have steadily dropped since the new season premiered last year and many people say that viewership dropped because Leakes wasn’t around. However, media reports claim that ratings are rising now that Leakes is back and now sources say that “Bravo execs want to bring NeNe back full time next year.”

“The fans miss NeNe and even though there is tons of drama this year without her, with her back, it would just take the show to the next level,” the source said.

Unfortunately for Bravo, the source adds that “NeNe isn’t ready to return to the show next year, however.”

But it may not be so easy for Leakes to leave this time around because sources say that Bravo’s parent company, NBC Universal, has decided to step in and is allegedly giving her an ultimatum: Sign back on with “RHOA” or lose your spot on the revamped “Fashion Police.”

“NeNe loves being a part of ‘Fashion Police,’ but the network is ready to cut ties if she doesn’t agree to their terms,” the source saidr.

“NeNe seems to think she is better than doing reality television and has moved on from ‘RHOA,’ ” the source claimed. “Going back would be a step back in her plan to become a global brand. She has a clothing line, and no longer wants to be associated with a reality show.”

The source finished by saying, “ ‘RHOA’ continues to be the crown in Bravo’s crown and the network wants it to shine. With NeNe.”

There’s no confirmation on whether the source’s claims are real, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Bravo at least asked Leakes to come back as a full cast member next season.
