David Wilson will likely die in prison for the heinous acts he has committed. According to KTRK in Houston, Wilson, 34, was convicted of raping two young girls and was sentenced to life in prison.

Wilson’s first run-in with authorities occurred in 2005 when he was convicted of sexual assault on a child. He was eventually sentenced to four years in prison, but he continued to take advantage of young women once he was released.

In 2015, Wilson’s sister sent her daughter to stay with her parents because she was going through drug problems. Wilson was staying at his parent’s home when he began to sexually assault the toddler, who was only 23 months old. After a rash was discovered on the baby’s genitals, she was taken to the doctor. It was eventually discovered that the toddler had contracted HIV, genital herpes and chlamydia. The child’s infections were so severe that she needed to have reconstructive surgery on her genitals.

Once the child’s results were positive, every family member who lived with the child was tested. It was determined that Wilson was the only person in the home who was HIV positive. However, he was not arrested at the time.

His arrest occurred after a 14-year-old girl with family issues spoke with a case worker about a relationship she was having with an older man. The teenage girl revealed to the case worker that she was pregnant by Wilson and had been having sex with him since she was 12-years-old. Once the teenage girl was tested, it was also revealed that she contracted HIV, herpes, and chlamydia.

During his trial, Wilson admitted to having a relationship with the teenager and said that he was sorry for giving her HIV, but he didn’t regret having sex with the girl. Wilson may have also infected other teens. He worked at a fast-food restaurant and had sexual relationships with other youth who worked with him.

But while Wilson deserved to be sentenced to life in prison, he wasn’t the only person to blame for infecting the toddler and teenager. His parents should not have allowed him to stay in their home with a baby after knowing that he was a sex offender. Moreover, the fast-food restaurant who hired him should not have allowed him to work with teenagers.

Wilson was convicted of sexual assault of a child.
