Lamar Odom’s life nearly came to a tragic end last year when he suffered a near-fatal drug overdose at a Nevada brothel that left him in a coma and with severe kidney damage. Miraculously, Odom survived the ordeal and has been quickly regaining his health over the past several months. However, stories of Odom sabotaging his recovery with alcohol began surfacing a couple of months ago and now Odom has reportedly been photographed drinking, once again.

As previously reported, Odom was originally caught drinking when he was spotted out with friends at Sherman Oaks, California bar Johnny O’Brien’s just hours before he went to Easter church service with Khloe Kardashian back in March. Sources claim that Odom allegedly had up to three Remy Martin drinks while at the bar.

The sources also claimed that Odom’s family was extremely worried about him sliding back into addiction and that Odom’s estranged wife, Khloe, was trying every method possible to convince him to undergo drug and alcohol rehab treatment. However, Odom allegedly refused her suggestions.

Now, media reports have revealed that Odom was photographed at the Beverly Center Sunday afternoon drinking at a bar. According to sources, Odom was out shopping with a friend at the mall and while his comrade shopped for shoes, Odom headed to a bar in the shopping center and ordered Cognac.

The sources say that Odom was seen talking with a few women as he dropped $60 in cash on drinks.

Well, sadly, we’re not surprised at the new report considering the previous stories, as well as a recent statement that Odom’s dad, Joe Odom, made about his son’s alleged drinking.

“Drinking is a slippery slope to all kinds of vices, and I want Lamar to stay away from it. It won’t help his recovery. I’m praying he makes it, of course,” Joe said.

Like Joe, we hope Odom focuses on his recovery and leading a sober life.
