Fans of the hit daytime talk show “The Real” were hit with a major shock this weekend when it was revealed that Tamar Braxton will no longer be a part of the cast of the talk show. Since the news broke, reports have been flying that Braxton was fired from the program and that there may be bad blood with her other co-stars. But a new report is claiming that her co-hosts weren’t even aware that she was leaving the show.

As previously reported, news of Braxton’s exit first circulated as a report that she had allegedly been fired by executive producers of the series because she wasn’t reading well with audiences and sales people claimed she wasn’t a good fit for advertisers.

The rumor was bolstered by an Instagram post from Braxton in which she claimed that she had been betrayed by someone close to her.

“I love u all but I have been stabbed in the back by someone I stupidly trusted ( not my man or my sisters) I am not about to be tried and tested to snitch and it’s not in good taste to tell you who…… but as #tamartians you are very smart and can figure things out on your own. But know that every one who smiles in your face is NOT your friend and is NOT cheering for you and will LIE and try and tear u down to TRY and dim your light. Thank GOD HE HOLDS MY FUTURE AND MY HAND! (Remember who u are)….I am Tamar Braxton,” Braxton wrote.

After her post went viral, though, “The Real” and Braxton released a joint statement claiming that she wasn’t fired and that she and the producers made the mutual decision that she would leave to focus on her music career.

However, not all fans were buying the statement, especially since reports were claiming that Braxton had unfollowed co-hosts Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai, Loni Love, and “The Real” itself on Twitter, save Tamera Mowry-Housley, leaving many to believe Braxton felt betrayed by her cast mates.

Well, according to TheJasmineBrand.com, sources claim that Braxton really was fired, despite the statement, and the reason may indeed be because of focus groups. The reason may also be because she was allegedly difficult to work with.

The source also claims that there’s no beef between Braxton and her cast mates because none of them had any idea producers planned to get rid of her.

“The co-hosts had no idea that Tamar would be terminated. Quite frankly, they’re devastated. There wasn’t a meeting called. There weren’t even warning signs and they had nothing to do with her firing. They didn’t even know that a statement was being put out,” said the source.

The source claims that their really is a genuine sisterhood between all of the co-hosts and that they are infuriated that Braxton is leaving without any warning from producers.

“The hosts really get along behind-the-scenes and they’re pissed that they were left in the dark about this,” said the source.

The report claims that Braxton’s co-hosts couldn’t even band together if they wanted to try to force producers to keep Braxton because they all have individual contracts with the show. The source claims, for now, that Warner Brothers isn’t sure if they want to replace Braxton or just leave the show with four co-hosts.

The source also claims that the reason Braxton, who announced she’s taking a break from all of her social media pages, likely unfollowed so many of her co-hosts is because she doesn’t want to be reminded by their posts that she won’t be on the show next season.

Well, what do you think? Do you believe Braxton was fired or do you believe the statement that she wanted to leave “The Real”?
