On Monday, June 13, pop music icon Prince Rogers Nelson, who passed away on April 21, 2016, was inducted into the Apollo Walk of Fame at their 11th Annual Spring Gala. The Walk of Fame ceremony took place under the Apollo’s famed marquee.

The concert portion of the evening featured performances by The O’Jays, Les Twins, and breakthrough stars Andra Day and Leon Bridges. It was hosted by LL Cool J.

An added treat, legendary saxophonist Maceo Parker, members of Prince’s renowned band The New Power Generation, Prince’s protégé and singer/musician Andy Allo, R&B singer Meli’sa Morgan and Grammy Award-nominated recording artist Raheem DeVaughn performed.
