Music mogul and entrepreneur Dr. Dre, real name Andre Young, got a rude shock from LA County deputies yesterday. According to an unnamed source, Dre was trying to pull into his Malibu home when he found a car blocking the driveway. Dre asked the unidentified White male driver to move his car and was allegedly met with a string of racist insults. The driver moved his car but kept ranting at Dre as the star pulled into his driveway. That’s when Dre took out his cellphone and started recording the encounter with the driver.

The driver allegedly stated, “Here we go again, another black guy with a gun” and called 911 reporting that someone pulled a gun on him. Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputies soon arrived at the scene and Dre allowed himself to be handcuffed and searched by police. Despite the claims by the racist, no gun was found on Dre and he was released. But the racist driver was not finished. He filed a citizen’s arrest report, filling out a form with the deputies and now the matter is escalated. It will be up to the LA County District Attorney to determine if there is a case and what charges will be filed. At this time, it is unknown what legal action Dr. Dre may take against the driver, who allegedly instigated the incident at his home.

Dr. Dre is well known for being an original member of the iconic rap group NWA as well as a leading businessman. Dre went on to create Death Row Records, which was later taken over by his former partner Suge Knight. Currently, Knight is in jail awaiting trial for murder. Dre is also the creator of the popular headphones “Beats by Dre,” which he sold to Apple for a sum that was reportedly as much as $3 billion.
