Singer-songwriter Will Gittens is on a mission to share his music with the world. The 24-year-old Berklee College of Music graduate is taking full advantage of the social media driven world we live in. Following an unsuccessful audition for season eight of “The Voice” soon after graduation, Gittens had to re-evaluate his approach to achieving his musical goals and building a following. Now, with millions of followers across multiple social media platforms, he is positioned to share his raw talent on a consistent basis.

“I am a spiritual person and the growth that I have seen in my following was God showing me that the only thing I need is what he provides for me and my relentless pursuit of what I am passionate about,” said Gittens.

Gittens is also a musician who is well versed in guitar, piano and drums. He has backed major artists such as Jidenna, Selena Johnson, Anthony David, Montel Jordan and Silk.

Having been exposed to a vast number of music styles, he finds it limiting and confining to identify with just one genre.

His soon to be released five-track EP titled, No Filter, features songs written by him and produced by The Prodigies (Sterling Gittens Jr. and Kris “Knock” Rahming). It is an original body of work that encompasses a combination of his roots, inspirations and experiences. The project has been a journey because every aspect of it echoes the true artistry of Gittens.

“I grew up listening to all kinds of music. There is so much pollution in the music of today and the goal with my music is to promote love and positivity. I want to inspire and be proud of the content I put out for the world to hear,” he said.

The No Filter EP is available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, GooglePlay and Amazon Music.
