Lifetime star of the hit reality TV competition show “Bring It!” Dianna “Miss D” Williams, was a hard-core porn star. Now, John Conner III, a top dance coach in Memphis, Tennessee, is accused of sexually abusing a student.

“I originally said no because I felt like my past was going to hurt my kids … [But] after talking to the producers about my life and making decisions that could benefit somebody else and getting over it basically,” she said in the interview with Madame Noire in 2014 when her work history surfaced. “I prayed about it. I talked to my husband about it, who was aware when we started dating.”

“The girls know about my past,” she said of the dancers she coaches on the show. “We’ve talked about it. They know about why I did what I did and why I felt like I needed to and what I should have done. I explained to them that I didn’t have the support system that they have.

“There was absolutely no way that I could allow something that I did to hurt somebody else’s child when I’m all about uplifting. That’s not the point. And after talking to the producers about my life and making decisions that could benefit somebody else and getting over it basically. That’s when it all kind of came full circle.”

Williams founded Dancing Dolls in 2001 and opened Dollhouse Dance Factory in 2012. For the past three seasons,”Bring It!” has been a hit showcasing the day-to-day activities of the award-winning Jackson, Mississippi-based troupe led by Williams.

Since revealing his HIV diagnosis and a suicide attempt, Dancerettes coach Conner was arrested on Friday, Sept. 16, on charges of criminal exposure to HIV, soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor and statutory rape by an authority figure.

Conner, 27, wrote on a now-deleted Facebook post:

“[Three] days ago I attempted suicide by taking over 2 bottles of pills because of a situation that happened over a year in [sic] a half ago that was recently brought up, but wasn’t told correctly. When the ambulance arrived I was out of it. I had a long conversation with God apologizing and begging for forgiveness of the decision on taking my own life. I remember them telling me that they had my assistant meeting my mom to tell her that I was dead. I wasn’t moving and unresponsive. They had me on suicide watch and had to give me a lot of fluids to get me back and my kidneys where [sic] completely dry. God takes us through things for a reason and test [sic] our faith to see who’s really a true believer. I was discharged from the hospital and sent to a mental institute and placed on suicide watch along with taking medication for depression.”

‘Bring It’ star John Conner jailed for raping and exposing teenage boy to HIV

The accuser, now 17, says in the “Affidavit of Complaint in Arrest Warrant, that in 2015, he and Conner met on social media. He admits the sex was consensual and they agreed to have “unprotected penile-oral sex” in Conner’s car and they engaged in “unprotected penile-anal sex.” They communicated via text messages for months that included conversations about plans for sexual activity and nude photos.

Some sites are reporting fellow coach, Dianna Williams’ comment about the charges is “None of my business.”
His bail was set at $100,000.
